The Hart’s Boatyard has been transformed into a very different type of riverside pub & dining venue. The new owners have overhauled this famous venue on the banks of the Thames in Surbiton to finally realize its full potential.

The new furnishings of leather tub chairs, teak oak tables, atmospheric lighting will complement the stylish feel to the setting, will mix seamlessly with contemporary touches to capture the eye and create an inviting and cheery atmosphere.

As beautiful as the inside is, the main attraction of the Hart’s Boatyard is the views from the extensive decking over the Thames. Is there anything better than meeting friends for Sunday lunch over a chilled bottle of wine or a Bloody Mary (or two) while river life flows by?

Open fires and a large bar draw you to the huge choice of super chilled continental beers, as well as an ample range of English cask ales served by friendly staff.

To accompany the food, there is a rounded and full-bodied wine list, featuring some of the finest champagnes, reds, whites and pinks. The menu is modern European pub food. There are plenty of homely comfort foods as well as some more refined dishes. From pizzas and risottos to aged steaks and fresh fish there will be a wide variety for all to choose from.

The most important element of the Hart’s Boatyard are the team. Led by the infamous Mike Dempsey, formally of the award winning Belvedere Arms in Sunninghill, there is a team full of personality, knowledge and smiles.
